description |
|
Horn Park is a world famous oolite locality which is a protected site and no collectors have been allowed to collect fossils since around 1992. This magnificent and rare specimen was collected in 1985. The nautilus has been prepared in full relief, ground to an ultra smooth finish then a high polish applied for maximum effect. The matrix has a cut base for ease of display. Prepared by Andy Cowap. |
