| description |
|
| This is probably one of the finest Nautilus that we have ever seen from this seldom collected bed that occurs at Lyme Regis. The nautilus has been carefully ground down and then a high polish applied to reveal stunning honey coloured calcite chambers. The surrounding matrix also has been aesthetically worked to add to the overall beauty of this specimen. The specimen has a flat base for ease of display. An exceptional Lyme Regist nautilus, one for the discerning collector. |
