This wonderful high quality specimen has been prepared both sides and has been preserved in solid calcite. Not often do nautilus of this exceptional quality come up for sale from this wonderful locality. The specimen was discovered in 1989 after heavy seas lashed the eastern coastline. Collectors of fossil nautilus will appreciate how beautiful and rare this specimen is, one for the discerning collector. Approximately 180 million years old. |
