| description |
|
| This fantastic 170 million year old nautilus has been fully prepared to reveal pale yellow transluscent chambers. The centre of the nautilus is immaculate. Very rarely do you see fossil nautilus of this quality come onto the open market for sale. On the matrix also is a juvenile Stephanoceras ammonite which really makes the piece highly aesthetic. The matrix has a cut and level base for upright display. Here at Fossils Direct, we are constantly striving to bring our customers both old and new, the very finest fossils from around the United Kingdom. |
