description |

this beuatifully preserved and complete tooth is very rare from this locality, the detail on the tooth is wonderful. The specimen itself lies on a small piece of Rhaetic Bone Bed and has been fully prepared by Andy Cowap. It is an old collection piece and was discovered in 1964. The modern day relative is believed to be the Port Jackson shark. Approximately 220 million years old. A wonderful collection piece. |
