description |
|
This specimen has been beautifully crafted out of a piece of grey chalk which must have taken hours of work. We have never seen any of these for sale on the open market and this particular specimen is very large and has a beautiful detail throughout. On the shell itself is part of a Marcasite nodule which only adds to the aesthetics of this exceptional bivalve. |
