description
A really nice complete sponge from the famous Horn Park Quarry which sadly closed its operations over 18 years ago and any collecting since has been banned. This specimen was collected over 20 years ago. Craterospongia's are very rare to obtain these days and that is why they are so sought after. Approximately 175 million years old.
