description |
|
Preserved on a piece of fossilised sea bed is this lovely example of this rare Brittlestar. The specimen from the Staithes sandstone formation is approximately 185 million years old. Specimens of Brittlestars are relatively rare due to their fragility. A fine and sought after example. |
