description |
|
From an old collection comes this fascinating tooth from a rhinoceras. The specimen was found in a cave at Tremeirchion near St Asaph. Specimens from this rare locality never come up for sale and this is the first one we have ever offered from this location. The specimen was found well over 100 years ago. These caves also show evidence of neanderthals inhabiting them. |
