| description |
|
| This fantastic and totally complete example is one of the finest Hybodant Shark (Hybodus curtus) specimens we have come across. The shark's intestine was spiral hence the shape of the coprolite as opposed to Ichthyosaur coprolites which have no real shape to them, just a solid mass. There are also fish remains within the coprolite. There is also a cut and polished half coprolite section which shows fantastic internal detail. |
