description |
|
This superb example displays a partial vertebrae column which has been ground gem smooth and a high polish applied to reveal excellent detail throughout. The outside of the stone is highly pyritised which really adds to the aesthetics. To see a polished vertebrae column is extremely scarse from this famous fossil locality. The matrix has a cut base for ease of display. Approximately 200 million years old. |
