This large and stunning example has been fully prepared to reveal every detail. The vertebra was collected in 2001.Pliosaurs were one of the largest carnivores ever, with lengths reaching 75 feet or more, the undisputed T-rex of the seas. This very fine vertebra will make an important addition for the discerning collector. Pliosaur vertebra of this quality are very scarse to find thesedays with nearly all the sites being closed and backfilled. Approximately 155 million years old. |
