  This wonderful and highly aesthetic multi ammonite fossil was discovered in a small piece of Epophioceras stone in 1989. The tone itself contains two Galaticeras and three Promicroceras planicosta's. A fantastic and unique addition for the collector. On the reverse side is an aesthetic brown calcite crystal pocked and a second Galaticeras on the side. Approximately 200 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website.

  This superb specimen has been preserved in solid calcite and has an immaculate centre. The nodes have been preserved on the shell's outer whorl which are an aesthetic feature of this oolithic ammonite. The specimen was discovered by the late John Huxtable in 1984 and recently been fully prepared. The ammonite lies in a generous piece of oolithic matrix which has a cut base for upright display.
