  This very interesting trace fossil was discovered inbetween a scattered rib section of an Iguanadon in 1983. Certain herbiverous dinosaurs swallowed these quartz pebbles to help digest their plant food which could be hard ferns. A rare fossil which would be an important addition for the collector. This gastrolith resided in the late professor GORDON WALKDEN collection. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website.

  this is an incredibly aesthetic specimen , even though the vertebrae of this long necked marine plesiosaur are not complete. The two vertebrae have been prepared in rel8ief from the hard surrounding limestone matrix. This specimen was found at Church Cliffs, the very site where Mary Anning made many of her significant discoveries some 200 years ago. The specimen has a natural base which allows it to display beautifully.
