Again, another well preserved coprolite in an ironstone nodule which has been ground gem smooth and a polish applied to reveal the coprolite's internal structure, great for study purposes with this 345 million year old specimen. These specimens were discovered in 1973 in a riverbed and it is virtually impossible to collect them nowadays due to constant high water levels. A lovely and very interesting drawer specimen. |
