  This extremely rare example was discovered circa 1973 and formed part of the Underhill Gault clay collection. The ammonite has been preserved both sides and has a perfect centre. There is also natural irridescence on the outer shell, exhibiting flashes of green, red and orange. One for the discerning collector. Approximately 108 million years old.   This beautiful Gault clay ammonite is approximately 108 million years old and resided in the Underhill Gault collection. The specimen has been preserved in solid pyrite and has a very good centre both sides. It was discovered circa 1984. A really good addition for the collector of Gault clay ammonites.
