| description |
|
| This stunning specimen was collected circa 1971 and made up part of the Underhill collection for over half a century. First described by J.Sowerby, this superb ammonite also has natural irridescence, mostly greens and reds with the odd flash of pink. High quality Gault ammonites very rarely come on to the open market for sale thesedays. Approximately 108 million years old. One for the discerning collector of very fine Gault clay ammonites.
