| description |
|
| A classic and highly aesthetic fossil which exhibits a beautifully preserved branch (170x70x28mm) from the Monkey Puzzle tree, one Asteroceras confusum and four Promicroceras planicosta ammonites, all preserved in various shades of yellow and brown calcite. Found by David Sole and prepared by Andy Cowap, this marvellous fossil is completely unique and makes a wonderful display piece which is approximately 200 million years old. Not many pieces such as this one from Lyme Regis are released on to the open market for sale. These fossils which are prepared in this way, are also very good and sound investment fossils. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
