| This wonderful example was discovered in 1977 and has resided until now in the Gault Clay Underhill collection. Ammonites from this iconic locality, of this quality are becoming extremely difficult to find thesedays. The surface irridescence is stunning on this specimen, the colours exhibited, when turned to the light are, reds, green, yellow and flashes of pink. First described by Spath in 1925.
