| This wonderful specimen has been preserved both sides and one side has an immaculate centre. The surface of the ammonite has beautiful irridescence which includes flashes of red, green, pink and orange colours. Ammonites of this quality from this iconic locality are becoming very scarce to obtain thesedays. This fine example was collected in 1975 and resided in the Underhill Gault Clay collection. Approximately 108 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
