| This magnificent specimen has been preserved both sides and one side has an immaculate centre. There is also wonderful irridescence all over the ammonite when turned to the light, colours include green, red, pink and yellow. First described by Sowerby in 1821, this specimen will make an important addition for the discerning collector. The ammonite was found circa 1974 and has resided in the Underhill Gault Clay collection. Ammonites from this iconic locality are incredibly difficult to obtain thesedays.
