| This very rare specimen was discovered by David Sole and fully prepared by Andy Cowap. The ammonite's black shelled preservation is stunning and has an immaculate pinpoint centre. both sides. There is also the odd worm tube preserved attached to the shell which is a lovely feature. The ammonite can be removed from its negative/counterpart, which is highly aesthetic. Fossils of this fine quality are extremely rare from this iconic oolithic locality on England's Jurassic coast. One for the serious, discerning collector of very finely preserved English ammonites.
