| This magnificent specimen is approximately 200 million years old and has been fully prepared. The ammonite has been prepared in various shades of brown calcite and has its characteristic nodes. The shell's centre is pinpoint immaculate. High quality Xipheroceras from this world famous location are uncommon and make wonderful and unique display pieces. The matrix has a cut bade for upright display. This fossil was unearthed where Mary Anning, the famous Lyme Regis fossil collector used to patrol for fossils over 200 years ago!!
