| description |
|
| This is a truly wonderful piece !! Not just as a specimen but also from the original dealer giving it provenance. Collected in the Victorian era, from this classic locality, comes this more or less complete sea scorpion. The specimen has been repaired but this was done at the time of collecting and certainly does not detract from the overall specimen. We believe the specimen came from the dealer James Tennant, who was the mineralogist to Queen Victoria! A superb specimen as well as a historical piece!! |
