description |
|
This wonderful display fossil exhibits a solid calcite Stephanoceras which has an immaculate centre and hundreds of ribs preserved. Also on the piece is a Belemnite guard (Megateuthis ellipticus)which has broken in half some 170 million years ago on the seabed and drifted apart which is a lovely feature and a moment in time captured. The matrix has a cut base for upright display and measures overall 370mm x 300mm.
A one off, unique statement fossil for either the home or indeed the office space. |
